Cephor Marie Labbe

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2006 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Cephor Marie Labbe, age 83, the former Cephor Marie Prejean, who passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 9:30 p.m. at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas.
Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro. The Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington, pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA, will officiate at the services.
Musical selections will be provided by Tony Broussard. The songs will be Take My Hand Precious Lord, The Old Rugged Cross, One Bread One Body, and Yaweh, You Are Near.
Ms. Labbe was a native and lifelong resident of Bosco, LA. She was a parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire.
Survivors include one son, Robert Labbe, Jr. of Bosco, LA; one daughter, Arlene Labbe Dupre of Scott, LA; one grandson, Todd Dupre and his wife, Stacy, of Scott, LA and three great grandchildren, Mary Ann Dupre, Samantha Dupre and Braden Dupre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Labbe, Sr.; two sons, John Larry Labbe and Harold Lee Labbe and her parents, Clorest Prejean and the former Ella Arceneaux, both natives of Bosco, LA.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue was in charge of arrangements.
