MARIETTA (WHITCOMB) and JOHN Q.A. AULT lived on a farm located just east of State Highway 29 on Road 100 N. Although both John and "Etta" were from large families, they had only three children and no grand children. The eldest son Howard was unmarried and died at age 28 of fatty degeneration of the heart; twin Ralph died in infancy. The remaining twin, Paul, lived to age 74 but married when middle aged and had no children.
