Obituary: The "Angel of Death" visited the house of Wiliam Kamerer at 1:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon, February 3rd, 1935, and called away the aged father, David Kamerer. He had been in failing health for some time but death arrived unexpectedly. The son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Kamerer, he was born at Kaylor on April 7, 1852, and at the time of his death was aged 82 years, 10 months, and 27 days. He was a highly respected citizen and a kind, loving father. For 43 years he was a member of St. Paul's Reformed church. On Nov. 11, 1880, he was united in marriage to Lavina Foringer who preceded him to the grave 24 years ago. To this union were born eight children, all of whom survive, namely; Mrs. Lee Waltenbaugh, of Tionesta; Mrs. Ida McClure of East Brady RD#1; Mrs. Clifford Sipes and William of Karns City RD#1; Edward and Mrs. Howard Snow of Chicora RD#1; Howard of Kaylor, and Mrs. James Silvis of East Brady. He also survived by one sister, Mrs. Sam Crawford of Cowansville, 51 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the home of Mrs. Clifford Sipes and were conducted by his pastor, Rev. R. D. Althouse. Interment followed in the Crawford Cemetery.
