Funeral service for Olice M. Armel, 57, formerly of Holly Hill, who passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006, at St. Petersburg General Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends today (Monday) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Haigh-Black Funeral Home, 167 Vining Court, Ormond Beach. Olice was born in Rochelle, Ga., moved to this area in 1991 and then moved to St. Petersburg in 2002. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach and joined Faith Baptist Church that was closer to her home when her health deteriorated. Her main interest was her two sons and keeping up with their baseball. She is survived by two sons, Brad, Holly Hill, and Bill, Jacksonville; a brother, John Swearingen, Holly Hill; two sisters, Dorothy Carmichael, Holly Hill, and Sallie Wilkes, Daytona Beach. Donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 497 Flomich Ave., Holly Hill, FL 32127. Arrangements are under the direction of Haigh-Black Funeral Home, 167 Vining Court, Ormond Beach.
