Joyce Nadine O'Dell, 66, passed away Monday, May 3, 2004. Graveside services Wednesday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence, MO. Visitation 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to "No MOre Homeless Pets in Kansas City, Feral Cat Committee" c/o the funeral home. Joyce was a member of the "No More Homeless Pets in Kansas City, Feral Cat Committee." She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Reed, and a brother, Raymond Reed. Survivors include her husband, Marvin O'Dell of the home; her mother, Ella Butler; sons, Jim and Annie Starr of Independence and Steve and Brenda Starr of Lee's Summit, MO; brother, Dennis Reed; and sisters, Alice LePage and Carla White; and three grandchildren.
