Funeral services for Beatrice Ann Bouma, 80, were held Monday, June 26, at the Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Wes Macy officiating.

Burial was at the Pease Cemetery in Pease. Music was provided by Elsie Johnson and Mary Vander Hoek. The pallbearers were Tim Martin, Todd Bouma, Jeff Bouma, Dustin Bouma, Jeremy Larson, Brenda Alfords, Melissa Martin, Nancy Weitgenant, Terry Weitgenant and Carol VanBlaircom.

Arrangements were by the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.

Beatrice died Thursday, June 22, 2000 at the St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud.

She was born June 21, 1920 to Steve and Elizabeth (Brink) Kiel near Pease. She grew up and attended school in Pease. Beatrice married Barney Bouma on March 6, 1941. They bought a farm in Milo Township where they farmed all of their lives. She enjoyed flower gardening and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barney; a brother, Bob; and a sister, Viola.
