Armstrong in 1986, Joseph Tkach Sr. became the successor and Pastor General of the Worldwide Church of God as well as President and CEO of Ambassador University in Pasadena, CA. The WCG produced many pieces of helpful literature including the World Tomorrow radio/television broadcasts and Plain Truth Magazines. Cause of death: cancer
