Caren Louise (Yancey) Covington, 54, of Atlanta, Georgia, died on February 27, 2005. She attended F.L. Stanton Elementary School and Grady High School and received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. She later earned her Master's degree in Education at Atlanta University. She moved to New York City and accepted a management position with Hertz Corp. Later she worked in human resources management at Systems Development Corporation, in Virginia. In 1990 she moved with her family to Atlanta, Georgia where she taught elementary and middle school for more than fourteen years in the Atlanta Public School system. She is survived by her husband, two sons, parents, two brothers, and twin sister. Funeral service held at Elizabeth Baptist Church with burial at South View Cemetery.
