Mrs. Polly Johnson, 70, died Wednesday in a local hospital after an extended illiness. She was a former Central State Hospital attendant.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Milledgeville. Burial will be in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Cecil Ward will officiate.
A Hancock County native, Mrs. Johnson lived in Baldwin County for the past 50 years. She was the wife of the late Bill Johnson and was a member of Knowles Chapel Methodist Church in Hancock County.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Johnson and Charles Johnson, both of Milledgeville; a brother, Bill Batchelor of Hancock County; and four grandchildren.
