In 1932, Alice married Theodore "Ted" Alexander Lapham (1910-1955), the son of Horace Irving Lapham (1869-1927) and Anna Margaret Leishman (1875-1951). Although their marriage would end in divorce in 1945, Alice and Ted had three daughters together: Gloria, Margaret, and Jacqueline.
During WWII, Alice became a welder for the Oregon Shipbuilding Corporation, having passed the American Bureau of Shipping welding tests in three positions (flat, vertical, and overhead) in 1944.
On December 13, 1947, married Willard Pershing Graber (1918-1989). With Willard, Alice had two more daughters: Sharolyn Iva Graber (1948-1970) and Marla Jean Graber (1952-2007).
In 1962, Alice and Willard left Oregon and moved to Westminster, California. On July 22, 1985, Alice passed away from cancer. She was buried in Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, California.
