Deborah Phoebe (Osswald) Albert, 90, of Carlisle, died Monday at Claremont Nursing Home.
Born July 16, 1915 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Clark H. and Bessie C. (Abbott) Swank.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, the Order of Eastern Star, worked for Feller's Clothing and Rite-Aid, and retired from the State Department of Revenue. She enjoyed hand quilting, knitting, and made afghans. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed traveling and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, David W. Osswald of Carlisle, and Dixon H. Osswald of Colorado Springs, CO; one daughter, Paula C. Ackerman of Dover, PA; one sister, Evelyn Shellenberger of Carlisle; seven grandchildren, Debra, Lisa, George, Daniel, Daryl and David Osswald, and Doreen Chiavarria; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter D. Osswald, and Paul R. Albert, one brother and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 8 p.m., Thursday, February 9th at Hetrick Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, with her pastor Rev. Amy C. Schifrin officiating. There will be a viewing from 6 p.m., until time of service. Interment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

Donations may be made in Deborah Albert's memory to Claremont Nursing Home, 2nd Floor, 1000 Claremont Road, Carlisle 17013, or to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 132 E. Main Street, Mechanicsburg 17055-3853.
