Johnny Ray died when he was hunting. He tripped and his gun went off. He left behind his wife, Rita Lejune Adaway, one daughter, Lori Kay, two sons, Michael Shane and Tommy Ray, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick T. Murphy, four brothers, Robert Nally, Kevin Murphy, Tommy Murphy and John Murphy,two sisters, Sheilia Champagne, Cathy Murphy, and many family members who miss him very much. Johnny Ray was a Viet Nam veteran.

I would like to thank W. Guidry very much for the headstone pictures of my cousin's grave. I live so far away I would never have been able to have taken them myself. I appreciate this wonderful gesture of kindness.
