Eunice Viola was born to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hunter and Charles Benson. Eunice was one of seven children. She was mourned by all of the Crockett community but most by her mother, Lizzie's siblings. She was a beautiful child and passed away too soon.
Eunice's siblings at the time of her death were Charles August Benson and Ida Christine Benson. Months after her death brother Edward Earl Benson was born, followed by Martin Bernard Benson, Mary Benson and Frank Benson.
Eunice was buried at Alhambra Cemetery in Crockett where her Grandmother, Mary Ann Maguire Hunter is buried alongside Eunice's Aunt Sophia "Sophie" Hunter Noon, and Uncle Oscar Harold Hunter.
