Body Of Modestan Is Found In Reservoir
The body of Arnold J. Stark, 48, of Modesto was recovered yesterday afternoon from the Turlock Irrigation District Reservoir, where he drowned Sunday afternoon in a boating accident.
Workers unsuccessfully had dragged the late Sunday night and yesterday morning. The body was found shortly after 2 P.M. when volunteer workers combined a 100 foot drag between two boats.
Among those who found the body were the victim's two brothers, Richard and Alvin Stark, both of Modesto.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. tomorrow in Moore's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
