3 Grandchildren - Joseph, Diana, Anthony

Nellie was born Nellie M. Ippolito. Her parents changed the last name from Ippolito to Frank, after they moved to New Castle, PA. She was a friendly person and loved life. She reminded me of an "Auntie Mame" type because she was a happy person and saw humor in everything. She was the kind of woman, who would be your friend for life. Her motto was live, live, live! Nellie married Joseph Conti and had one son, Anthony, whom she called Teddy. Joseph was her first husband.

When she married her second husband, Frank Jetto, they resided in Jersey City, NJ. Frank worked at the US Postal Service. Nellie worked at the American Can Co in NJ. Previously she worked at Shenango China in PA. Upon their retirement, they moved to New Castle, PA. They purchased a home on Worthington Avenue and decorated it with white carpeting and white furniture. Frank passed away in 1972, about a year after they moved to PA. Nellie loved the horse races and spent some of her time at the Ladbroke's simulcast facility in town. She always liked to bet on the gray horses. She believed in dreams and their meanings. Nellie took in many stray cats to feed and care for them. She would never let an animal go hungry. She especially liked the "orange-red striped" cats, similar to Morris on TV. She had one called "BABY" that was her love. Nellie was a member of St. Camillus Catholic Church.
