Ralph Edward Berger, 80 of 1721 Woodlawn Drive, Hagerstown, died Friday, April 21, in the Washington County Hospital.
Born in Wingerton he was a son of the late John E, and Minta (Hershey) Berger.
He was a self employed truck driver, and a former home builder.
Berger was a member of the Longmeadow Church of the Brethren.
He was also a member of the Longmeadow Fire Co. and the AARP.
He is survived by his wife, Emma R.(Hartman) Berger; three daughters, Sonja Davis of Keedysville, Md., and Shirley Leatherman and Barbara Ritter, both of Hagerstown, two sons, Richard E. Berger of Hagerstown and Donald L. Berger of Chambersburg; 17 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Gale H. Younkins officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Longmeadow Church of the Brethren organ fund.
