MADISON — Dorothy Louise Leftwich, 81, died Feb. 23, 2003, at Saint Thomas Hospital after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Russellville, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.W. and Lela M. Reynolds; and granddaughter, Kristina M. Layne. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Allan Leftwich Sr.; children, Robert A. Leftwich Jr. and Patricia L. Edwards; daughter-in-law, Linda M. Leftwich; grandchildren, Michael B. Leftwich and Ann-Marie Edwards; step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Eric Eim; great-grandsons, Jonathan P. and Christian T. Layne; great-granddaughters, Olivia J. and Katelyn R. Turner-Leftwich; step-great-granddaughter, Zoe Turner-Yovanovitch; brother, A.W. Reynolds Jr.; sister-in-law, Sybil Reynolds; half-brother, James Jenkins (Carol); aunt, Pauline Bates; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. today with the Rev. James R. Moore of Parkway Baptist Church officiating. Family and longtime friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
