Funeral services for Hubert Wayne Ballard will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Gil Hooper officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 6:00 Pm at The Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at the Greenleaf Cemetery. Hubert was a mechanic with the Tahlequah City Street Department. On May 4th, 1959, he married the love of his life, Juanita Corine Coffee in Tahlequah, OK. This union was blessed with five sons and one daughter, Albert, David, James, Rodney, LaDonna and Robin. Hubert was the kind of man that loved to keep busy. When he wasn't at work, you could find him working around the place or rebuilding a lawnmower. When he had a little free time, Hubert loved the great outdoors and loved to go camping and fishing with his family. He was a gifted musician and could play the guitar, fiddle and banjo. Of all the things he treasured, he loved his family and was fiercely loyal to them.Hubert loved his friends at the Tahlequah Street Department. He was quick with a smile, and loved a good joke. The Lord called Hubert home from his earthly labors on August 2nd, 2014 at his home in Tahlequah, OK with his family gathered by his side. Hubert was 76 years old. He will be greatly missed for his friendship, his love and his devotion to family.
