Ada Jane Baker, age 83, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away at her White Sands Manor residence on April 19, 1999.

She was born on March 15, 1916, in Madison County, Ky., and had resided in the local area for the past 30 years, moving here from Louisville, Ky. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Baker. She was the beloved mother of her son, David, and daughter-in-law, Rheba Tyler of Navarre, Fla.; stepdaughter, Minnie Baker Brown of Lebanon, Mo.; sister, Virginia (Hank) Rabby of Mary Esther, Fla.; grandmother, Deanna Miller of Cincinnati, and Sandra Polsue of Milton, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Tasa Polsue, Rachel Miller and Paige Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Little Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 22, at Hollywood Boulevard Baptist Church, 204 S.E. Hollywood Blvd., Fort Walton Beach, with the Rev. Willie Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Baker will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.

"When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be" .... Family.
