HEBERT — Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today for Will A. Etier Sr., 86, of Hebert, who died Wednesday at Caldwell Parish Hospital after a long illness.

The Rev. Victor Matthews was to officiate at Welcome Home Baptist Church with burial in Etier Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Ledbetter and Mrs. Margie Pool, both of Columbia, Mrs. Effie Zeagler of Monroe, Mrs. Annie Eveas of DeQuincy and Miss Betty Etier of Hebert; five sons, George Etier of Hebert, Frank Etier of Lafayette, Waymond Etier of Monroe, and James Etier and Carey Etier, both of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hopkins of New Orleans and Mrs. Annie Mae Hopkins of Hebert; one brother, Sanford Etier of Bastrop; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be John Owens, Alford Duchesne, Roger Wheeler, Charles Wheeler, Johnny Wheeler and Dinnie Wheeler.
