'ANOTHER EARLY PIONEER WOMAN PASSES AWAY' . . During her long residence in this community, Mrs. Alvey cast a ray of sunshine in many a heart which was grieved or trouble laden. Her life was made up of kindly acts and bright thoughts, and the sorrow which comes from her passing away is not alone confined to her family, but to many friends which were attracted by her cheery disposition. She was a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor and friend. Mrs. Alvey was a zealous member of the M. E. Church.
