Ervin Benson was the son of George and Carrie Benson.

He was a Navy WWII veteran who served in the South Pacific. He owned Benson's Trailer Park and Boat Storage in Brooken.

Survivors include daughter; Phyllis Dollar, son in law; Jim Dollar of Lakeside, Texas. Grandchildren: Tia Dollar Kattau and husband Jonathan of Haltom City, Texas and Derrick Benson Dollar and wife Georgeanne of Crowley, Texas. Three sisters; Virginia Carlton of Sallisaw, Shirley Smith of Brooken and Darlene Baker and husband Richard of Tulsa.

He was preceeded in death by his wife Imo (Holcomb) Benson, parents George and Carrie Benson, three brothers, Lee, Rudolph and Roland Benson and two sisters; Evelyn Moseley and Wanda Gordon

Pallbearers were Derrick Dollar, Jonthan Kattau, Mark Moseley, Clarence Cariker, Holland Smith and Tommy Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers were Joey Neal, Larry McWhirten and Norman Collins.
