Eveline Belcher was the daughter James Elias Belcher and Mary Elizabeth Pearceall.

She married Elmore Preston 'Mode' Underewood in Barren Co, Kentucky on Apr 7, 1878. The moved to Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, later Madill, Marshall Co, Oklahoma in the 1887. Some of their children later moved to Pike Co, Arkansas around 1900 and then later to Hopkins Co, Texas and Parker Co, Texas.

She died after being diagnosed as having had acute indigestion when she died. Her husband was a nightwatchman at an oil refinery and her granddaughter, Bessie Vivian Underwood was staying with her at the time. (Death information obtained from Tim Bingham).
