Elic Mendelsohn, 83, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday, February 11, 2005, at Village Shalom. Mr. Mendelsohn was a manufacturer's sales representative for over 40 years and had owned Mendelsohn Sales. Mr. Mendelsohn was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue, its Men's Club and its Mr. & Mrs. Club; 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; member of Abdullah Shrine; 3 & 2 baseball coach, and was a Royals Lancer since its earliest days. He was a life long area resident and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Mendelsohn was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Helen Felice Mendelsohn, who died in April 2004. He is survived by his 2 sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
