Ben H. Anderson, 66, of 49 Cambridge Rd., president of the Ben H. Anderson Manufacturing Co., died suddenly Friday night, apparently of a heart attack. Mr. Anderson, an inventor of dairy equipment, was stricken at
home and pronounced dead on arrival at a Madison hospital. was taken to the hospital by Maple Bluff ambulance. The body is at the Frautschi funeral home, 120 E. Wilson St. Survivors include his wife; two Sons, Richard C., Rt. 2, Madison, and Donald T., Milwaukee; three sisters, Ivah Anderson, 334 Marston ave., Mrs. T. Lane Ward, 825 McBride Rd., and Mrs. R. A. Neuman, Lakewood; four brothers, O. Torkel Anderson, Portland, Ore., Arthur J., Minneapolis, Minn., T. R. Anderson, Sturgeon Bay, and Arnold C., 334 Marston ave.; and two grand-children. Mr. Anderson was born in Sioux Rapids, Ia., and came to Madison in 1913. His parents were pioneers in the Sioux Rapids area. He operated the manufacturing company for 35 years. Three years ago it was moved from Madison to Morrisonville.
Mr. Anderson helped develop milking machines and many of his dairy inventions were patented.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Congregational Church.
A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of the Madison Masonic lodge 5, the Zor Shrine, and the Madison Rotary club.
