Miss Mary H. Nelson
Miss Mary H. Nelson of 428 Clarke Drive died at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stonehill Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Egelhof-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St., where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Miss Nelson, who was born in Dubuque, taught French and Spanish at Senior High School from 1925 until her retirement in 1971. She was head of the foreign language department of the Dubuque Community Schools. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Assoc., Mercy Hospital Auxillary and St. Patrick's Rosary Society.
Surviving is a brother, Thomas H. Nelson of Dubuque.
