Services were held Monday afternoon for William Achenbach, 59, who passed away Saturday, August 7, at a Prairie du Chien hospital, after a short illness. The Rev. F. W. Landdeck officiated at the services; held at the St. John's Lutheran Church, and interment was in the Boscobel Cemetery. Mr. Achenbach had farmed near Boscobel most of his life, coming from Crawford County. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; a sister, Mrs. Chas. Boebel, Sr. of Boscobel; five brothers. Ernest of Lancaster, Henry of Woodman, Alfred of Wauzeka, and Herman and Carl of Boscobel.
