Will: "I Elizabeth MILLS of the town of Pamelia, County of Jefferson, State of New York, being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare my last will and testament in manner following. First. I will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as may be after my decease. Second. I give, devise and bequeath to my brother Abram H. RIPLEY in case he survives me the sum of two hundred dollars. In case of his death before me this legacy to go into the residue hereinafter bequeathed. Third. I give, devise and bequeath to my grandchildren Ansel M. EDDY, Edwin K. EDDY and Gracia Ann LAVERTY children of my deceased daughter Amanda EDDY, each the sum of One Hundred dollars. In case either of them die before me the legacy of the one or ones so dying shall go into the residue hereinafter bequeathed. Fourth. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann ROGERS all my furniture bedding and clothing now at the house of said Mary, to be disposed of by her as she thinks best, or have the whole herself. Fifth. All the rest, residue and remainder of my property both real and personal I give devise and bequeath to my children William MILLS, Hiram MILLS, David C. MILLS and Mary Ann ROGERS to be divided equally between them share and share alike. And I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Hiram MILLS and Lorenzo ROGERS of Pamelia aforesaid Executors of this will hereby revoking all former wills by me made, and I hereby authorized and empower my said Executors and the Surviviors of them to sell and convey in their discretion any real estate I may own at my decease and to manage my estate in all respects as shall to them seem best in order to carry out the purpose of this will.
