Lionel Brooks, 46, of Pecan Rd Liberty, Ms Had a Massive Heart Attack at Home and was Pronounced Dead at Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville, MS.

Visitation was 5pm to 9pm Feb 2 at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb, Ms and Noon Friday, Feb 3 until Services there at 2pm. His Uncle, Elder Dwayne Carlock will officiate. Burial was at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery in Auburn, Ms.

He was an Offshore Driller for 25 Years.
Lionel Attended Chamberlain Hunt Military Academy in Port Gibson, MS.

Lionel was Preceded in Death by His Father; Leslie "Bo" Brooks (1938-1990), His Grandparents; James & Gladys Brooks, and One Nephew; Eric Brooks.

Survivors include his Wife; Carolyn C. Brooks of Liberty, His Mother; Reece Lazarus Brooks Junkin of Jonesville, La, Two Sons; Leslie Arron Brooks and Jarred W. Brooks both of Liberty, One Stepson; Jeremy Fair of Liberty, One Brother;
Samuel Keith Brooks(July 17,1958 - Sept. 3,2009) of Jonesville, La, One Grandchild; Marisa Marceaux of Liberty, Uncle Dwayne Carlock and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Pallbearers were Carl Edwards, Larry O'Gwynn, Jason Ivey, Jeremy Fair, Shaun Edwards, Matthew Cockerham, Randy Mills and Willie Ross.
Honorary Pallbearers were Dominick "Nick" Paretti, Dale Jackson, Paul Gattis, Curtis Futrell and Wallace McCray.
