From the Hollidaysburg Democratic Standard, 14 May 1862:
"The Dead Of The 84th- The remains of Privates Paul Long and Job Miller, of the 84th regiment, who fell at the battle of Winchester, arrived in the train on Monday evening, and were conveyed to the Town Hall, from whence the funeral will take place this (Wednesday) afternoon at 3 o'clock. Private Long was a married man and leaves a wife and several children. Private Miller was also married and leaves a wife and two children."
