Helen Elizabeth Avery was born April 10 1916 to Jesse Adolph Avery & Sallie Riggs Avery in Dover, Craven, North Carolina, USA.

She met and married a man a named Bennett. To-date, this researcher has not found any information regarding their bond, nor their children, if any; however, this memorial will be updated as information is discovered.

Helen passed away on January 21, 1950 and was buried in Cross Creek Cemetery. It has also not been verified as to which section of this apparently very large cemetery she was laid to rest.
