DOVER Allan L. Crisamore, 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Genesis Health Care Gettysburg Center. He was the loving husband of Sonja A. (Berkheimer) Crisamore. The couple celebrated 48 years of marriage on March 11, 2014. Born July 12, 1937, in Warrington Township, Allan was a son of the late Albert D. and Nancy E. (Boyce) Crisamore. Allan was a U.S. Army veteran serving with the 526th Company Military Police in Korea. He worked at Lyon Metal Products and AMP, Inc. in East Berlin. Allan attended Dover Bethany U.M. Church in Dover and was a member of Seven Mountains Blue Grass Association and East Berlin Fish and Game. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, snowmobiling, genealogy and going to the Gospel Jam at Church of the Open Door. He also enjoyed working with his son, Allan, in the machine shop. In addition to his wife, Allan is survived by a son, Allan L. Crisamore II of Dover; a daughter, Holly A. Pooler and husband, Jason of East Berlin; three grandchildren, Jason, Melissa and Micah; a sister, Esther Yost and husband, G. Eugene of Dover; a brother, Alvin Crisamore of Palmyra; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Crisamore; and a brother, Albert Crisamore. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Allan's memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014, with a visitation to follow at Dover Bethany U.M. Church, 4510 Bull Road, Dover. Burial will be in Dover Bethany Cemetery, where veteran's honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev.
