Norah died of "inanition"--exhaustion caused by starvation, exacerbated by senile debility and severe arteriosclerosis.
She was a wonderful lady. When she wasn't working, she was always reading her Bible while rocking in her favorite rocking chair. She loved her children and grandchildren, and she was generous beyond her means--she would give away money that she needed for groceries for herself to someone else whom she thought had a greater need or she loved more than herself.
