George Henry Barber married Bertha (Stiller) Barber on May 27, 1925. They had five children: Richard Keith (10/17/28-11/21/28), Max Allen (10/16/30-4/9/02), Donna Jane (b. 11/15/33), Donald George (10/2/36-7/6/06) and Marcia Marie (12/5/40-2/11/81). George was grandfather to eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
George worked at the Allis-Chalmers factory in LaPorte, Indiana for over 30 years, manufacturing agricultural harvesting equipment.
He is missed very much by his only granddaughter.
