Was born on February 11, 1925 in Liberty, KY and was the daughter of the late Dallas and Mossie Bell Rule. She moved to Hilton Head Island in 1982 from Greenville, SC.Mrs. Adams was a Tri-Delta and attended Transylvania University in Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Godfrey Peeples of Louisville, KY. He was on the Editorial Staff of The Courier Journal and later, the Greenville News. She was married to the late Stewart L. Adams of Hilton Head in 1982, and they were both very active with the Jazz Society and the Arts on Hilton Head.
