Jazz Vocalist. Born James Victor Scott also known as "Little" Jimmy Scott. He was famous for his unusually high contralto voice, due to Kallmann's syndrome, a very rare genetic condition. His growth was stunted due to his condition, he was four feet eleven inches until the age of 37, he grew another 8 inches. He was "Little Jimmy Scott" in the Lionel Hampton Band when he sang his 1940's hit "Everybody's Somebody's Fool", it became a top ten R&B hit in 1950. Other recordings include: Very Truly Yours (1955), If You Only Knew (1956), The Fabulous Songs Of Jimmy Scott, (1960), Unchained Melody (Live Album) (2001), But Beautiful (2002), Moonglow (2003), All Of Me: Live In Tokyo (2004).
