Thelma Breeden Taylor, 85, of Manassas, died peacefully at her home Friday, Jan. 20, 2006. She was a member of Manassas Baptist Church and past member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Manassas Volunteer Fire Department. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Taylor Jr.; one son, George W. Taylor III; grandson, George W. Taylor IV; father, I.J. Breeden; mother, Jennie Thelma Breeden; stepmother, Hilda M. Breeden; two brothers, Irvin "Jackie" Breeden and John L. Breeden; and one sister, Helen B. Masi. She is survived by three children, Sandra T. Cottrell of Manassas, Ronald W. Taylor of Manassas and Gerald L. Taylor of Yalaha, Fla.; four grandchildren, Paige Hall, Cyndi Wastler, Ronald Taylor Jr., and Michelle Krznaric; five great-grandchildren; and two siblings from Charlottesville, sister, Jennie Sue Minor and brother, C. David Breeden. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
