Ms. Anna Lee Sanders Duboise, 91 of Hackett, Arkansas died Thursday, June 5, 2014 in her home. She was born March 12, 1923 in Hackett. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Greenwood. Ms. Duboise was a graduate from St. Edward School of Nursing; a licensed anesthesiologist, as earned a master's degree from Emery College in Atlanta, Georgia, retired from UCA as an instructor of the nursing department. She also served on the State Board of Nursing, and served as a chairperson of the Department of Nursing at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas; where she was a professor of Nursing and taught there as well.

Ms. Duboise was preceded in death by her parents: Odie and Willie Lee Sanders and two brothers, James and Carl Sanders.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, H.B. Duboise of Hackett; three sons, Terry Duboise and wife, Judy of Hackett, Glenn Duboise of Hackett, Pat Duboise and wife, Dana of Hackett; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sallie Sanders; one sister, Helen Blackman and husband, Lyndon; two brothers, Harold Sanders and wife, Betty and Phillip Sanders and wife, Wanda; twelve nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many dear friends.

Funeral service was held on Saturday morning, June 7, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Brent Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Randy Duboise, Chris Duboise, Anthony Crouse and Kirk Duboise.
