Mary Lou Antonson, 61, of 99th Ave. West, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, in her home.
A beautiful wife, mother and friend who gave nothing but love and comfort to those who were lucky enough to know her. She was born in Mora, Minn., and had lived in Duluth most of her life. She married Roger Antonson on Aug. 15, 1959, in Duluth. She had been a beautician in Duluth for many years and then was manager of National Beauty Supply from 1976 to 1986. Most recently, she was employed by Stewart and Associates of Elgin, Ill., in customer service with Republic Bank in Duluth. She was a very active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Guild as well as a longtime Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Timm; and two brothers, Marvin and Ivan Timm.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; two daughters, Jane (Kirk) Jewell of Hugo, Minn., and Julie Antonson and her fiance Pavel Tsatsouline of St. Paul; a son, Kirk Antonson of Duluth; her mother, Edna Timm of Duluth; three sisters, Ivy (Ben) Mills of Alabama, Elaine Osborne of Esko, and Margie (Tom) Erickson of Proctor; three brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Timm of Proctor, and Allen Timm and David (Sandy) Timm, both of Duluth; and her three adored grandchildren, Miles, Nikolas and Keely Jewell.
Visitation: 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park. Arrangements by Bell Brothers Funeral Directors, 601 N. 56th Ave. W.
