Visitation will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3700 River Blvd. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kenneth Noel will be officiating.
Pat was born in Bakersfield, California on March 22, 1935 and went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2004 with her loving family by her side.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Mitchell Bridges; her children, Patty and husband, Mike Cooper, Joyce and husband, Jim Mahan, Kenny and wife, Malinda Bridges, Lori and husband, Brian Sanford; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Marion Malamma and was preceded in death by her brother, William Malamma all of Bakersfield.
Many people would never be able to endure the pain and suffering that she went through everyday. Although she spent the last 15 years of her life in pain due to kidney failure, her sweet, caring, and loving disposition never allowed anybody to really know what kind of pain she was feeling. Pat was a fighter even up to the last breath she took. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Wife, Mom, Grandma Pat, this is not goodbye; instead, we will see you again someday!
