US Congressman. Served in the United States Army during both World Wars. Served in World War I as Captain of Battery F, 338th Field Artillery. During World War II he served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945, rising to Colonel. He was elected to represent Nebraska’s 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1931 to 1933. His son, H. Malcolm Baldrige, served as US Secretary of Commerce during both terms of President Ronald Reagan.
