WILBUR ARNOLD, 66, HAS FATAL HEART ATTACK; SERVICES TUESDAY
Wilbur Arnold, 66, who had been a Street Fair crossing guard for many years, died of a heart attack at 6 a.m. Sunday at his home at 1325 West Central Ave.
Over many years, Mr. Arnold did farm work and helped Bluffton downtown merchants with labor.
A son of Lewis Elwood and Gusta Davis Arnold, he was born Oct. 11, 1920 in Liberty Center.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Betty Kaehr of Meadowvale Care Center; two half-brothers, Russell Arnold of Bluffton and John Arnold of Meadowvale Care Center, and a half-sister, Mrs. Charles (Evelyn) Taylor of Fort Wayne.
After 7 p.m. today friends will be received at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, with services there at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of Rev. Eston Poling. Burial will be in the Mossburg Cemetery.
