Harold L. Bozlee was found at his home Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, having died of natural causes.

He was born on March 18, 1921, to Samuel and Mabel Bozlee in Choteau. He grew up in Stevensville and graduated from high school in 1941. Harold enlisted in the Army in 1943 and was a staff sergeant in the 143rd Air Material Squadron. He was assigned to air bases throughout England. He was honorably discharged in 1946.

Harold married Cleo Babe Stratton Nov. 4, 1947. They ranched in the Bitterroot Valley from 1947 until 1962. They moved to Deer Lodge that same year and he gained employment at the Montana State Prison dairy. He retired in 1983 as a dairy supervisor. Harold worked part-time at Old Prison and Car Museum and planted the flowers until 2003.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, leather and woodwork, etching glass pictures, and especially time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo, and sisters, Margaret, Lorraine, Dorathy and Eva.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Debbie Bozlee, Spicer, Minn.; daughter, Joan Bozlee, Livingston; brother and sister-in-law, George and Joan Bozlee, Washington; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and George Wendhorst, Florence; grandsons, David Magone, Boston, Hugh Magone, Bozeman; granddaughters, Christina (Josh) Miller, Big Timber, Leslie Scheetz, Sidney, Cleann Magone, Portland, Ore.; and four great-grandchildren, Morgan and Faith Miller, Kelly and Dillon Scheetz.

Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jewell Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Wohlers officiating.
