Funeral services for Darlene Klemme Klatt were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home in Postville. Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
Darlene Elaine Klatt, daughter of John and Bessie (Page) Matzen, was born July 11, 1918 in Omaha, Nebraska. She died May 28, 1985 at the Marshall County Care Facility at Marshalltown.
She graduated from Technical High School in Omaha in 1935 and was employed as a retail sales clerk until her marriage. January 28, 1942 she was married to Arnold Klemme of Postville. They had 2 children. Arnold died in September of 1958.
In 1959 she was married to William Wolff of Janesville, MN. He died in November of 1964.
December 30, 1972 she was married to Carl Klatt of Marshalltown, Iowa. He died in 1983.
Survivors include her son, Keith Arnold Klemme of Lake Crystal, MN, her daughter, Eileen (Mrs. Dan Corbin) of Waynesville, NC, 2 grandchildren, Jeff and Jay Flaten, a stepdaughter, Eileen (Mrs. Ed Burns) and 2 stepsons, Don and Ken Wolff, both of the Mankato area.
