Mae Allee, age 94 years of Iberia, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 11, 1977, at Charles E. Still Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. where she had been a patient since September 10, 1977.

Mrs. Allee was born May 17, 1883, in Livingston County near Chillicothe, MO., the daughter of John and Pauletha (Cortawaay) Hill. She was married on February 26, 1905, to Dixon Allee, who preceded her in death on September 19, 1924.

Mrs. Allee had been a school teacher at Spearman, Curry and Barton Schools. Most all of her life was spent in Miller County since a child. She was baptized at age 26 by Rev. Bastie and was a member of the Curry Methodist Church.

Mrs. Allee was a member of the Methodist Ladies Silver Circle in Iberia, Mo. The past few years she had been a patient in several Nursing Homes and on Feb 22, 1977, she was moved to the Miller County Nursing Home near Tuscumbia, Mo.

Also preceding her in death were: 1 sister, Mrs. Laura Hill and 3 brothers, Clyde, Ray and Albert. Surviving are: 1 daughter, Mrs. Malone Keeth of Iberia, Mo.; 4 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at 1:30pm Tuesday, September 13, 1977, at the Stevinson Chapel in Iberia, Mo. With Bro. Farris Wall officiating. Interment was in the Curry Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia, Mo. Pallbearers were: Greg Cardwell, Russell Cardwell, Charles Allee, Merl Thompson, Donald Keeth and Louis Wall. Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, 1977
