Beloved husband of the late Marie Vosar Ackerman. Loving father of Fred Ackerman III (Diana Whitney) and Cam Ackerman (Leslie Ann Brandon). Devoted brother of Dorothy Kruse and James Ackerman. Adored Grandfather of Freddy, Jeffrey, Lindsey, Kristen, Michael, Nicole, Cameron Kyle.

He was proud to be a Veteran of WWII USN, member of Ascension Men's Club.

Funeral Mass Wednesday, February 20 at 9:30 A.M. at Ascension Catholic Church, Saratoga.
