Orville Morgan Allen, was the Son of, John Edmonds Allen and Pamela(Parry)Allen. His first wife was Jane(Wilson)Allen, their Children were: Eliza Ann, Elizabeth Catherine, Mary Jane, Sarah Lucinda, Antoinette Morgan, Alma Hyrum, James Chandler, and Laura Josephine Allen. His second wife was Elizabeth Ann(Bessyanna)Burkett)Allen, their Children were:John Matthew Johnson Allen, Amanda Alizina, Eleanor Ann, Rosina,Orvel Morgan Allen Jr., Elizabeth Ann, Samuel Edmonds Allen, His third wife was Susannah (Ward)Allen, they had a daughter named Mary Josephine, and his fourth, Isabella (Watson)Allen, they had no children, he remarried Susannah. He lived the rest of his life with Elizabeth and her son, in Arizona. O.M. Allen, was one of Joseph Smith's Body Guards, and helped to build the Nauvoo Temple. Brigham Young asked him to lead a large group of Mormans out of Nauvoo, Illinios, to safety at Council Bluffs, on the Missouri River. He was given a Patriarchal Blessing by Hyrum Smith, wherein he was promised, among other things that his name would be honored by his Children and perpetuated from generation to generation, Forever. He was given a certifacate recommending him to the Office of Seventy.
