Harold E. Florey was born March 31, 1922 and was the son of Elsy and Ruth Wiley Florey. He married Wilma L. Frye in Monticello on Sept. 28, 1946. Harold served in WWII with the 82nd Airborne Division in Africa and Europe. He was wounded twice during his service.
Surviving are; his wife; one son, Ronald; two grandchildren; one brother, Frank; and three sisters, Jacqueline Schlatter, Mrs. Curtin (Helen) Hollaway and Mrs. Robert (Irma) Leni. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
