Funeral services for John R. CAMPBELL of Tahlequah were held Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at the Green Country Funeral Home in Tahlequah. Officiating was Rev. Samson Leach of Cedar Grove Church. Pallbearers were Donald Ray Bolin, Johnny Bolin, Ronnie Bolin, Eli Sequichie, Dave Holmes, and Richard Holmes. Honorary pallbearers were Andrew Pritchett, David Bolin, John Stay-At-Home, Leroy Grayson and Virgil Holmes. Interment followed at Barber Cemetery.
John R. was born in Tahlequah, Okla., on Feb. 4, 1941 and went to be with the Lord on April 22, 1998 after reaching the age of 57 years, two months and 18 days. John was preceded in death by his father, Andy CAMPBELL, and his mother Lila Stay-At-Home BOLIN.
He is survived by: six brothers, Martin, Eddy, George, Dave, Bill and Willy; two half-sisters, Anna Marie and Fanny May; a companion of 17 years, Helen of Idaho; his daughter Rachel of Okla., and a son Darrell of Okla.
