Carrie C. (Taylor-Frazier) Striker
Carrie C. (Taylor-Frazier) Striker, 81, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday morning, January 28, 2011 in her home.
She was the daughter of the late Owen and Arizona (Lane) Taylor. Carrie was born in Ravenswood, West Virginia and moved to Ohio at a young age.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Norwalk, Ohio. Carrie enjoyed working with her flowers and watching the birds and squirrels. She also enjoyed sewing, however, the last few years did not let her do much of that.
Carrie is survived by her husband of 18 years, Richard Striker, of Norwalk, Ohio and by her sons, Louis Frazier Jr. of Shreve, Ohio, William and Shirley Frazier of South Carolina, Kris Frazier of Harvey, Louisiana, Douglas and Brenda Striker of Norwalk, Ohio and by her daughter and son in law, Lelah and Jim Weidinger of Norwalk, Ohio, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law, Alice Taylor. Carrie was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Frazier Sr., by her sons, Michael Frazier and Richard Allen Striker, and by three sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. James McClain and Rev. Joe Groff will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
